Explore Scientific, put their new Travelling Showroom on display for the first time at the 21st Anniversary of the Northeast Astronomy Forum at Rockland Community College in Suffern, NY, where we showcased our entire line of telescopes, including a pre-production concept model, 16-inch Truss Tube Dobsonian Telescope.

We also showed visitors our entire line of eyepieces, including new 9mm 120° Argon-Purged Waterproof Eyepiece! The Explore Scientific Travelling Showroom will next be on display at the 44th Annual RTMC Astronomy Expo in Big Bear, California from May 24th through the 27th. We will be there to show our latest gear and to give some fantastic doorprizes.

After extensive field testing by amateur astronomers at star parties in Canada and the USA, we learned that about half of the viewers could see the entire boundary of the field stop at once, while the other half could only see stars as far to the edges that their eyes would permit without seeing a boundary.

Soon the first astronomers with a 120 Degree AFOV eyepiece will be scanning the skies with the hyperwide view!
