Excellent eyepiece!! Viewed C/2025 A6 Lemmon and C/2025 R2 Swan comets and wowza!! Looked great in my 10 inch Dobsonion with this eyepiece.
I have gotten back into astronomy in the last year. I started out buying cheaper eyepieces and slowly worked my way up in price. I bought this 24mm 82-degree eyepiece about three months ago and was surprised at the difference it made. I recently purchased another 6.5mm 82-degree eyepiece and will continue to add more of this series over time. ch
I have not gotten a chance to try this 82 degree 24mm eyepiece yet, But it looks great, and I don't have any doubts that it will give a splendid view!
5 stars for the eyepiece performance and quality, but 1 star for the fact that my order was charged but then lost for over a month(!) and was only found after numerous email queries from me to Customer Service. It averages out to a 3-star experience. Every past purchase I've made was rated 5 stars. Some big 'disconnect' must have been going on for them this time. To be clear, this negative experience will not keep me from buying from Explore Scientific in the future. It's been a good company to deal with.
