Yes, the SkyX can connect to the PMC-Eight ASCOM driver.
The PMC-Eight ASCOM driver passes all the ASCOM Standards conformance tests, so if The SkyX is a fully compliant, client application, then it should work. To know for sure, you just have to try it. Early on, Software Bisque did not fully support the ASCOM Standards initiative, but they currently support other third-party mount ASCOM drivers, so it should work fine.
