National Geographic Telescopes

National Geographic telescopes are designed to make astronomy accessible and exciting for kids, families and beginners. Easy to set up and use, these telescopes deliver satisfying views of the Moon's craters, the rings of Saturn, the moons of Jupiter and bright star clusters, while many models also double as spotting scopes for daytime nature viewing.

The National Geographic telescope lineup includes compact 50mm tabletop telescopes perfect for young children, portable refractors for travel, 70mm refractor telescopes on adjustable tripods, the NT114CF 114mm reflector for brighter deep-sky views, and automatic GoTo models that find objects for you. Select models include astronomy app support and smartphone adapters to help locate objects and capture images.

When choosing a National Geographic telescope, consider aperture for brightness, mount type for ease of use, and portability. Refractors are low-maintenance and great for the Moon and planets, while reflectors show more stars and nebulae. A National Geographic telescope makes a memorable gift and a perfect first step into astronomy.
