Telescope & Mount Packages

Explore Scientific telescope and mount packages bundle a high-quality telescope with a compatible mount for a seamless stargazing or astrophotography experience. Each package includes a telescope, mount, eyepiece and finderscope, so it is ready to set up and use without the guesswork of matching components yourself.

Packages range from ED APO refractors paired with the iEXOS-100 PMC-Eight equatorial tracker for astrophotography, to Sidara GoTo telescope kits that find objects automatically, to Explore FirstLight combos designed for beginners. Matching the telescope to a mount with the right payload capacity is essential for steady views and sharp images, and these packages are configured to work well together right out of the box.

A complete telescope package is also often the most economical way to get a quality setup. When choosing, consider whether you want visual observing or astrophotography, manual or computerized pointing, and how portable the system needs to be. As your interests grow, add Explore Scientific eyepieces, filters, field flatteners and camera adapters to expand what your telescope and mount can do.
