Explore Scientific Smart Microscope Slide: Petal (English)

English Français Deutsche Nederlandse Italiano Polskimi Portuguesas Español 中国 日本人 한국어

Flowering plants are colorful, frangrant, and beautiful. The flower itself is the primary reproductive organ and the petals are usually the most colorful and fragrant part. The petals attract or repel pollinators (e.g. bees and birds), and they protect some parts of the flower. Without flowers insects, birds, animals, and humans would not have the food and natural medicines that they need.

With a microscope you can dive into the fine cellular structure of one of the most amazing structures on planet Earth, the petal.
