Mount Accessories

The right mount accessories help you get the best performance from your telescope mount. This collection includes counterweights for balancing heavier payloads, polar finders for accurate polar alignment, saddle plates and dovetail adapters for secure attachment, tripod extensions for comfortable viewing heights, and cables and power supplies for PMC-Eight and Explore Scientific mounts.

Proper balance is essential for smooth tracking and reduced wear on your mount's motors, especially in astrophotography where cameras and accessories add weight. Accurate polar alignment, achieved with a quality polar finder, ensures your equatorial mount tracks precisely during long exposures. Reliable cables and power solutions keep your GoTo mount running smoothly throughout the night.

When choosing mount accessories, confirm compatibility with your specific mount model, such as the iEXOS-100, EXOS-2 or Losmandy mounts. Upgrading a few key accessories can noticeably improve tracking accuracy, stability and convenience. Whether you are fine-tuning an astrophotography rig or setting up a new mount, these accessories help ensure every observing session goes smoothly.
