The National Geographic NT114CF Reflector Telescope offers the perfect entry point into serious amateur astronomy. With a large 114mm aperture, this Newtonian reflector delivers impressive light-gathering power—ideal for sharp, detailed views of the Moon, planets, and deep sky objects like star clusters, nebulae, and distant galaxies. The 500mm focal length allows for a wider field of view and shorter exposure times, making it excellent for both visual observation and basic astrophotography.

Equipped with two quality Plössl eyepieces (26mm and 9.7mm), this telescope provides magnification options of 19x and 51.5x, and the included red dot finder scope makes locating celestial targets fast and intuitive. The alt-azimuth mount features a smooth panhandle control for easy tracking, while the full-size adjustable tripod provides a stable base for astronomers of all ages and heights.

The sleek carbon fiber-style optical tube is not only lightweight and durable, but also stylish and modern. Included is a smartphone adapter that lets you capture your best views and share them with friends and family. As a bonus, the telescope comes with downloadable astronomy software and a star map, so you're fully equipped to begin your night sky journey.

Seems to be a pretty good unit. The panhandle mount is okay and fairly steady for this type.. The optical tube is good with good images after collimation. I had a similar optical tube, an Orion Starblast. It got knocked over at a star gathering and does not stay in collimatio now with slightest movement. I noticed this had the Vixen style dove tail mount so I took a chance on this scope replacing the Starblast tube and it has worked out perfectly. Nice little 114mm reflector. Really enjoy it so far. Also very fun to use on the mount it came with. Definitely recommended especially for the low price!

Great product, and it's better than the EECON 90mm telescope.
