Portable Power for Telescopes & Mounts
Computerized telescope mounts, cameras, dew heaters and other accessories all need reliable power, especially when you observe away from home. Portable power banks and power supplies keep your equipment running at dark-sky sites, star parties and campgrounds where outlets are not available.
Explore Scientific power solutions are designed with astronomers in mind. Our USB power bank includes a built-in red LED flashlight, so you can charge devices and read star charts without ruining your night vision. Dedicated power supplies are also available for PMC-Eight mounts, providing stable, regulated power for accurate GoTo pointing and tracking.
When choosing portable power, estimate the total current draw of your mount, camera and accessories and select a capacity that comfortably covers your longest sessions, keeping in mind that cold temperatures reduce battery capacity. Reliable power means fewer interruptions and more time enjoying the night sky.
