Counterweight Set for Truss Tube Telescope DOB

The Explore Scientific Counterweight Set for Truss Tube Dobsonian telescopes adds weight to the rear of the primary mirror box to keep the telescope balanced. Balance matters when you add heavier eyepieces, finders or other accessories to the top of a Dobsonian, which can otherwise make the tube drift instead of staying where you point it.

Installation is simple: remove the rubber stopper, insert the shaft through the mirror box and secure it with the included nut and washer.

This set of counterweights attaches to the rear of the primary mirror box with included nut and washer. Simply remove the rubber stopper and insert shaft through and attach with nut and washer. Includes 2 - 2.5 lb counterweights.
