This supplemental 5 lb (2.25 kg) counterweight is made for Explore Scientific EXOS mounts. Adding counterweight lets you balance a heavier telescope, camera or accessory load so the mount tracks smoothly and the drive is not working against an off-balance payload.

It includes a locking knob to hold it securely in place on the counterweight shaft.
