ED80 Telescope Collection

This collection gathers everything for the Explore Scientific ED80 apochromatic triplet refractor in one place, including ED80 telescopes, complete astrophotography packages and matched accessories. It is the easiest way to build an ED80 system for wide-field astrophotography or high-quality visual observing.

ED80 packages pair the telescope with a field flattener for round stars to the edge of the frame, a 0.8x focal reducer for faster exposures and a wider field of view, or the iEXOS-100 PMC-Eight equatorial tracker for accurate tracking. Accessories such as the ED80 hard case, camera adapters, T-rings and extension rings help complete and protect your setup. Because every component is designed to work together, these packages take the guesswork out of matching optics, spacing and mounts.

The ED80 is a favorite of beginning and experienced astrophotographers alike thanks to its compact size, color-corrected optics and wide field. Combined with a DSLR, mirrorless or dedicated astronomy camera, an ED80 package can capture stunning images of galaxies, nebulae and star clusters. Choose a complete package to get started quickly, or add individual accessories to build out the ED80 you already own.
